Most of the time, you could get viruses via third-party apps you installed to your android phone, especially apps outside from Google play store. You get most virus from visiting sites that have ads that wants to convince you that your Android device is infected and you need to download an app to remove viruses from your phone.

Tips: If your android device doesn't already have a virus, the best way to secure your android phone from viruses is to avoid installing application outside from Google Play Store unless you know the app very well.

First Step:

Put your android phone into Safe Mode

Safe mode is a diagnostic mode of a computer operating system (OS). It can also refer to a mode of operation by application software. Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system. In Safe Mode, apps that didn't come installed on your device are disabled.
How:  Long-press the power button until the power options menu appears. Long-press the Power Off option and you’ll be asked if you want to reboot your Android device into safe mode. Tap the OK button.

Second Step:

When you are in safe mode, check the android application by entering the settings menu select Apps, then go to the download menu. In this way, you can identify the virus that infect your android application, especially by looking at the strange applications that you never install on the device you have or applications that you recently installed before you encounter virus on your phone.
